Armed Robbery in Amsterdam

The Amsterdam PD is still looking for a suspect from an armed robbery that occurred last night.

Police say a dark skinned male, standing about six feet tall with a medium build, entered the Mobil station on 165 Church St. brandishing a black pistol.

The five people that were in the station were ordered to get on the floor.

Police say the suspect then took about $100 from the register and fled.

The suspect was last seen wearing a yellow and black hooded jacket with a yellow bandana covering his face.
